Main functions and responsibilities:      

  • Strategic Sales Planning for International Markets: As a Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a strategic sales plan that targets international markets. Your plan will be centered on building enduring customer relationships and deeply understanding their business needs and objectives, with a focus on serving as a pivotal technology partner in the MRO, Ground Handling, and Fueling sectors.
  • Customer Relationship Management in the Aviation Industry: Your role will involve maintaining robust relationships with customers, evaluators, and potential clients. Staying informed about market needs and trends within the aviation industry is crucial, as is your ability to adapt to the sector's comparatively slower decision-making processes and effectively engage with a diverse array of stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Market Assessment and Value Proposition: Leveraging your sales expertise, you will assess market needs and craft compelling value propositions. This includes developing effective sales strategies for both existing and forthcoming digital products, all tailored to the unique requirements of the aviation.
  • Innovative Sales and Marketing Initiatives: In collaboration with the product and marketing teams and other crucial business stakeholders, you will contribute the design and implementation of innovative sales and marketing campaigns. These initiatives are aimed at promoting and selling our growing suite of products, making a significant impact in a market known for its intricate decision-making processes.

Requirements for the position:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aviation industry, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in software sales or operations within the aviation sector.
  • Proven track record as an individual contributor with remote supervision.
  • Strong knowledge and previous experience with digital products in the aviation sector, particularly in Ground Handling or MRO operations, will be highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on achieving results.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, leveraging industry connections and networks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic or Mandarin, including strong presentation and negotiation abilities. Creativity in finding effective sales solutions is essential.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal leaders to develop business strategies, marketing plans, financial projections, etc.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
